Speak about your strengths and what you can offer the company? Give examples of what you can bring to the company. What are you good at?

Talk about what inspires you to succeed and to reach your goals for your career. Why don’t you give up whns things gets difficult?

HOW DO YOU HANDLE STRESS AND PRESSURE

What do you do when you are stressed? Give a real life example of a stressful situation, how tou handled it and what the results was.

WHY DO YOU WANT TO WORK FOR OUR COMPANY? WHY DO YOU THINK YOU WOULD FIT INTO THIS COMPANY? WHAT WILL YOU BE ABLE TO CONTRIBUTE TO THIS COMPANY?

Do your research about the company so you know their vision, goals and values and how you can contribute to these? Give examples of the achievement, qualities and skills you have that will benefit the company and the position you are applying for.

DO YOU PREPARE TO WORK INDEPEDENTLY OR IN A TEAM?

Be honest. Companies need team leaders and team players. How well do you work with other people? Did you woke together on some kind of project with other people, either at school, at church, within your community or within the woekplace? What do you usually do in a group context.

WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN FIVE YEARS? HOW DO YOU PLAN TO ACHIEVE THOSE GOALS?

Keep these goals relevant to your career at the employer. The goals must be REALISTIC AND ATTAINABLE within a 5 year period.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF A CUSTOMER IS DIFFICULT AND/OR CRITICISES YOUR SERVICE OR THE GOOD OR PRODUCTS YOU ARE SELLING?

Remember that good customer service is extremely important in the workplace. The Golden rule is ” The customer is always right”. The way you handle the customer represents the company. Don’t become emotional. Remain calm, be polite, threat then with respect and let them feel important. You can’t get upset or angry with the customer. Apologies, admit mistakes and try to find a solution. Ask a supervisor for help if you cant solve the problem.

WHAT IS YOUR WEAKNESSE? OR WHAT DO PEOPLE MOST OFTEN CRITICISE ABOUT YOU?

Think of things about yourself that you might need to improve on and what you are doing to work on them. Is shows strength of character whsj you can be honest about your weaknesses.

Do research beforehand to know what you can expect for such a job. Use the internet, the newspapers, contact a recruitment agency and aks what is a market related salary or average salary range for each different job.

The company wants to know if you are an honest and trustworthy person.

HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH CONFLICT OR CRITICISM? TELL ME ABOUT A CONFLICT SITUATION WITH A CO WORKER, FAMILY MEMBER OR FRIEND. WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU ARE ANGRY?

Give a real life example of an event that made you angry or created conflict, how you handled it and what the results was. They want to see how well you might handle conflicts or anger in the work place.
